Hilbe, Gregor
Born in 1968 in Basel, lives in Basel (CH). From 1987-1991 he studied at the jazz department of the former College of Music in Graz, Austria. During this time Gregor Hilbe  played with bands like Timesquare, Tangavan, Brave New Slaves, Jazz Via Brasil and other big and small ensembles.

In 1991 – in 2000 resident in Paris, in 2000 – in 2003 in London. During this time he worked as a producer, drummer or percussionist with Mark Murphy, the Vienna kind of Orchestra (1996-98), Kurt Elling, Dave Liebman, Kevin Davy, Andy Bey, Avril, Jeff Hoffman, Bob Mintzer, Joseph Bowie, Sheila Jordan, Wolfgang Muthspiel, Michelle Hendricks, Urszula Dudziak, Laurent de Wilde, Jay Clayton, Edouard Ferlet, Jean-Philippe Viret, Rob van Bawel, Gary Burton, dj Nem, Randombias, Alex Kid and many others.

His present projects are JBBG – jazz bigband graz (Graz/Vienna), BOWW (London) with Kevin Davy (Lamb), Tango Crash (Buenos Aires/Berlin), Toy Sun (Seattle/Paris), Avril (Paris/f-com), Republique (Vienna), 3 g (Lyons).
